Concept:
The design is a proposed 3810 square meters beach-like resort. Located in Toronto’s waterfront the concept concentrates on a very modern philosophy that emphasizes simplicity and elegance on its design. The ideas carried by the design concept is oriented toward an open concept and highly bright spaces that will incorporate elements of nature in a way to attract a wide range clientele; and keep them as customers/returning customers for as long as possible by providing them with a pleasant, luxurious and comfortable accommodation and customer oriented services that will lead to unforgettable memories.
The architectural and interior design choices are meant to confront these same ideals in a playful manner. Concrete, wood, plants, colors, textures and lots of natural light will lead to a new and interesting interpretation of an always summer beach-like marina resort in an urban environment in a Nordic country.
